Inspired by a montage of the imagination and life affirming experiences with nature’s most stately creature, Equus, especially during a magnificent ride through historic mountains with spectacular views of the Manua Kea. The seemingly touchable clouds began to gracefully swirl, during that special, magical moment at twilight, setting the sky ablaze of pink, pale purple and rose, a fading blue sky, the sun gracefully slipping into the ocean…

The initial opening is of spicy notes of Cardamom, Clove, Pimento Berry and Bois de Rose, evolving into leathery notes that harmonize with Saffron Absolute and Myrrh. The base transforms into notes of precious woods, Patchouli, Vetiver from Haiti, hints of Feu De Bois and White Musk, under a delicate veil of Bulgarian Rose; possessing a prominent presence and a long lasting trail of seduction.

YeYe Parfums is an independent, artisanal perfume house, specializing in creating fragrances that are distinct, blending European and American traditions, using only the finest raw materials from around the world, with packaging that is understated, but striking and self-confident, with a discerning eye to quality and the slightest detail. The falcon of our Trio is of an ergonomic design.

The brand was founded in 2007, initially focusing on Home Fragrances: Diffusers and Candles and has a growing list of loyal and discerning patrons. After relocating to Santa Barbara, the “American Riviera,” our first personal fragrance, EQUUS No 8, was introduced early 2015. SENTIERS De COMÈTES and Y.O.R.K. No 7 were launched in the Fall 2015, giving the brand a Trio of Parfums.

Ernesto Sanchez Bujanda, our In-House Perfumer & Co-Founder, was educated as an Industrial Engineer. While living in NYC, he acquired years of experience in the high-end, beauty and fragrance industries. In creating YeYe Parfums, disciplined by engineering, philosophy, prose and inspired by the histories of long established brands, some dating back several hundred years, he set out to put our own personal mark on the fragrance industry.

Ryan York, Creative Director & Co-Founder, spent 10 years of management with Manhattan’s premier haberdasher and an additional 8 years as Director of Stores, including store design, with the country’s oldest apothecary (dating back to 1752), overseeing the opening of 30 stores in the US and Canada & creating a “pop up” store within Harrods of London, long before they were called, “pop ups,” plus an additional twenty years of executive management and interior design, in acclaimed hospitality and retail venues, in Miami and South Miami Beach.
