Pop-up Shop at Tempus Projects
Starting today, we have “sprung” into a new pop-up shop space for the holiday season. We’re at Tempus Projects, a multiuse art gallery and studio in Seminole Heights, next door to other independent shops Frolic Exchange, Disco Dolls, and Spool Studio. We’re across the street from Nicko’s Fine Foods (a Tampa landmark) and two antique shops.
Farther up and down Florida Avenue are The Blind Tiger Cafe, Independent Bar, Cappy’s Pizza, Ichicoro (ramen), and The Refinery, whose chef was a 2016 James Beard Award semi-finalist. Not bad company!
For the next two months, we’ll be introducing ourselves to a new neighborhood, encouraging our Downtown and South Tampa-based clients to travel north a bit, and enjoying some festive events along the way.
Small Business Saturday “Shop Hop” is coming up this weekend, and First Fridays Art in The Heights is on December 1, with an itinerary of stops at local merchants and participants. We may have a special event of our own to announce too…stay tuned!
In this journey of independent retailing, we’re having fun growing organically, being flexible and responsive to opportunities, and getting to try out different formats of connecting with fragrance connoisseurs: online, through sampling, and in-store in temporary spaces.
Come see us—the address is 4636 North Florida Avenue. Parking is in front, along the side streets (Curtis Street and Hilda Street), or behind the building.
Our hours are now:
- Monday, closed
- Tuesday through Friday, 11-6
- Saturday, 11-5
